The Heart Portal: By Isabel Costa

The Heart Portal

By Isabel Costa / 2021

Nowadays, we talk a lot about inter-dimensional portals and multidimensional experiences -I am not opposed to them, on the contrary! - in the quest to raise our vibrations and frequencies. To many, this sounds like the language of science fiction or hallucinogenic adventures. We do rituals and meditations on special days in the hope of ascending to the highest form possible.

In reality, it is simpler than it sounds, it just requires attention and commitment on our part. The most important portal is so close to us that we often neglect it: it is the portal of our heart.

It is at this portal where we can become aware of the being that we really are! To access this portal we need to reconcile with ourselves, with our wounded inner child, release the pains both caused and perceived in our childhood, the unhealthy beliefs we have been taught and instilled with, the fears, guilt, judgments, anger, the intergenerational memories and traumas we have received at the cellular level from the moment of conception. In fact, this alone is a daily and permanent work throughout life, and along with this deconstruction we need to go deeper and deeper into this very special portal that exists within us and that gives us access to the wonderful universe of divine consciousness that we are. How? By practicing daily moments of connection and connecting mind to heart, by exercising gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, love for ourselves first and then for those around us, our families, friends, our society, nation, world and planet. Gratitude is the key that allows us to live in a human and divine frequency, and is a seed that, when sown, bears fruit to the giver and the receiver. Compassion allows us to develop our humanity and to release judgments more easily, for it is not possible to be compassionate and judgmental at the same time.

We are living in an era of great change of consciousness, and this transformation implies going beyond our 5 physical senses, seeing with the eyes of our soul and feeling with our heart, discovering ourselves deeply beyond all the stories we have been told in our families. We are the hope of our ancestors, will we become the future they dreamed of? And what will we build for our descendants?

2012 was the year when the Mayan calendar marked the "end of the world", the end of an Era! It is also interesting to note that all indigenous tribes around the globe have prophecies concerning a new world, an era led by women. The Hopis, for example, prophesied that when their grandmothers speak, the earth will heal itself.

In the last century, women have gained freedom and independence, but often this freedom has expressed itself in extreme ways, especially sexually and in seeking outside authority. This is indeed the era of Woman leading, not by outward dominance, but rather by her inner empowerment, self-confidence, resolved memories of pain, honesty, transparency, and living values on both an individual and family level.

The heart of women is a mother's heart, of love, of welcome, of peace. Only a mother's love brings peace to the world, for no mother would deliberately send her child to war. The love of a mother - emotionally healthy - heals any pain, for only she knows how to love without any expectation of reward, guiding her children to a healthy, positive and happy future. Thus, it is the true love that we all desire.

Unfortunately, until today men have not been able to build a peaceful world, so this is the time to uplift women so that they can raise their sons and daughters with higher values, life purpose and an attitude of service to others, becoming divine beings and harmonious families. In this way, we can create a heart-centered culture of peace.

In this era comes a voice from the East, the Mother of Peace, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, who founded in 1992 the Women's Federation for World Peace - of which I am a Peace Ambassador - urging every woman to be proactive in creating this Culture of the Heart.

I end with a quote from her: "The love within the family is the model of the love that God wants us to practice in all spheres of life. Peace will come when two people, a man and a woman, trust and love each other. If men and women can fulfill their mutual responsibility to trust and love each other, the world will become the happy place we all wish it to be. Each person's happiness depends on his or her ability to achieve peace in marriage and family."
